PERFORMANCE

Game Set Hatch. The Corolla Hatch is available in either a 1.8-litre Hybrid or in a 2.0-litre petrol engine, both featuring a host of efficiency-boosting technologies such as the VVT-iw (Variable Valve Timing - intelligent wide) intake; a direct injection fuel delivery and flexible engine cycle switching; a 10:1 compression ratio, and smart-heat management. The petrol engine delivers 125 kW of power at 6600 r/min and torque of 202 Nm at 4600 – 5000 r/min. The Hybrid model produces 72 kW of power at 5200 r/min and torque is measured at 142 Nm at 3600 /min.
